Beautiful day today! I woke up at 8 in the morning and took the bus home. Finished a movied called Gái Nhảy aka Bar Girls (2003). What a sad show! Incredibly emotional and well-acted. It's about 4 sex workers in Sài Gòn pre-1975 and the baggage that comes with that, abuse, drugs, threats of getting HIV. It's heavy stuff. The sentimental/melodramatic writing style really completes it, and the outdated language was nice to watch. I have so much respect for sex workers, they're very misunderstood.
